Description
Racial profiling, denial of citizenships, the Ontario criminal lawyer boycott, being advocate for our community, exploring a law career, being Black on Bay Street, and applying for law school are a few of the sessions in February 2010. The highlight of the conference is the participation of several members from various provincial bars and respected legal scholars and justices from across Canada. Along with an exciting entertainment showcase featuring a Montreal rap/reggae spoken word artist, each year, the conference ends with a formal gala event featuring an award ceremony, dinner and entertainment. Saturday, 20 February 2010 from 6:30pm to 12:00am, Gala Night Tickets are from $40-$60, plus table for 10 for $400.
